Terra is a planet that not only practices peace, tolerance and love, but celebrates it through harmonious festivals. However, the Terrian’s are about to find themselves on the brink of war when humans, who have completely destroyed Earth, invade to take Terra away from the natives. One such native, Mala (Wood) is more inquisitive than the other Terrian’s and so when the opportunity rises she saves the human Stanton (Wilson). After initial tensions the two befriend each other and set about stopping the war that will destroy both civilisations, finding out secrets and mysteries along the way…
This new instalment of 3D is no different from what we have already seen visually, but what makes this film different is its version of a peaceful world. Battle for Terra is darker than you would imagine, with a lack of humour and focus on the merits of peaces and the disastrous consequences of war. However its plot, in all its simplicity is made understandable for people of any age so its harmonious message can reach everyone which really gives it a lovely touch.
