Do you enjoy chilling out, maxing relaxing all cool, whilst listening to incredible music outside of the school (or Deer Park)? Of course you do. Then The Big Chill is probably the festival for you. Yo this is the story all about how your summer could get flip turned upside down by the Fresh Prince of Festivals ANDREW TRENDELL.

Check out our splendid Big Chill Spotify Playlist HERE.
The universally acclaimed Big Chill is returning to the summer festival circuit once again for yet another year of fresh beats, chilled vibes and phat tunes, or something similar.
World-renowned as one of the best events of the year and as Glastonbury’s younger, cooler, dance and alt-music loving cousin, this year’s Herefordshire bash boasts an incredible and diverse line up.
With hundreds of the world’s finest acts playing across 13 stages The Big Chill really is a festival in a class of it’s own. Don’t believe me, take a look at the bill.
This year the line-up includes Massive Attack, Thom Yorke, Lily Allen, M.I.A., Roots Manuva, Explosions In The Sky, Patrick Wolf, Newton Faulkner, Kelis, Plan B, Tinie Tempah, Mystery Jets, Liars, Bonobo, Caribou, and way, way more.
If that’s not enough for you, here’s what the world of music has to say about the festival:
Times Online: “ the summer’s most sumptuously appointed left-field garden party”
Evening Standard: “ “The Big Chill had done exactly what it said on the tin.”
The Telegraph: “The Big Chill is where dance music went when it grew up.”
The Independent: “The best festival of the summer.”
What in Christ’s name are you waiting for? Get yourself to the Big Chill. At meagre prices tickets are available HERE. (Psssst, Student Tickets are available for a meagre £120)
Here are Platform’s 5 Big Chill festival highlight predictions:
1. The one and only M.I.A. All I wanna’ do is * * * * and I # # # # and take yo’ money:
2. Thom Yorke isn’t JUST the frontman of the greatest band of the last 30 years, he’s also a bitching solo artist y’know:
3. Conquering the world one festival at a time this summer, it’s The Mystery Jets:
4. Love her or hate her, the love Ms. Allen will certainly put on a showstopping…show:
5. It’s going to be nothing short of biblical when those trip-hop legends Massive Attack play one of the greatest songs of all time:
