Review: Batiste Dry Shampoo

Review: Batiste Dry Shampoo

As girls when getting ready, time always seems to be against us. Especially when we suddenly realise that the best thing would have been to wash our hair a few hours ago. However, there is a great solution in the shops to our bad hair situations.

Batiste is a hair care brand that specialise in dry shampoo, catering for everyone’s hair conditions and preferred look and smell. With over ten different dry shampoos on offer, a variety of styles can be achieved.

By spraying the product onto your hair before styling, which comes out as a soft and light powder, any moisture on your hair will instantly dry, therefore making the greasy look disappear. Just make sure to shake your hair after application or you could end up looking like you’re going grey!

As a blonde myself, my favourite of the range is the Batiste Gold Shimmy Dry Shampoo. The product doesn’t just nurture your locks, but adds a slight glitter and glisten, especially ideal for a night out. Silver Shimmy is also available for the darker tones.

I have also tried and tested the Batiste Boho Dry Shampoo, which I would highly recommend anyone preparing for a weekend at a festival. Small and handy enough to pack in your camping bag, this will solve all your festival hair mishaps. A brilliant solution when a shower is not on the cards.

Batiste has now introduced a new product, called Brit Dry Shampoo, exclusive to Superdrug stores. The brand is embracing everything British and traditional, and returning to their roots, giving you everything that you’d expect from a dry shampoo.

Batiste is available to purchase at all major supermarkets, and both Boots and Superdrug, normally coming in at around £4.
