Local Nottingham developer takes centre stage at GameCityNights.
The Nottingham developer of upcoming first-person shooter, Crysis 2, will be appearing at GameCityNights next week.
Crytek UK will present a special look at the multiplayer portion of Crysis 2 at Antenna on Friday, February 25.
Karl Hilton, managing director of Crytek UK, will kick off the evening with an incisive and frank look at the issues challenging the digital industry today.
And, lead level designer Steven Lewis will deliver a one-off talk about the creation and large-scale destruction of Crysis 2’s game worlds and discuss the art of multiplayer map design.
GameCity director Iain Simons said: “It’s great to be kicking off season two with one of the festival’s best friends, on the eve of the release of one of the most important and anticipated games of 2011.”
A variety of additional events, including networking, competitions and live indie game demos, will also be on hand.
