The Artery Foundation Across the Nation European Tour 2011
Miss May I w/ Chelsea Grin, Abandon All Ships, Chunk! No Captain Chunk
Ohio metallers Miss May I will headline the 2011 edition of The Artery Foundations’ “Across The Nation” Tour across Europe. They will be hitting up Rescue Rooms on Monday October 24th. The tour will be supported by Chelsea Grin, Abandon All Ships and newcomers Chunk! No, Captain Chunk
Miss May I are making the very welcome return to Nottingham for their first ever headline tour – having successfully wowed us supporting both Asking Alexandria and We Came As Romans. Their unique brand of thrash metal merged with melodic breakdowns is sure to be a treat for the crowd at Rescue Rooms, after a successful year since the release of their second studio album Monument.
Chelsea Grin are featuring as the main support act, providing deathcore beats that will warm up fans. Their second album My Damnation (released June 2011) has received much support and added to their growing number of fans.
Canadian rockers Abandon All Ships are promising a good show, after their huge success on MySpace lead them to being signed by the Artery Foundation label. Fans were worried about their future this year after the departure of their lead guitarist was announced, but they have bounced back stronger than ever – synthesisers and guitars in tow.
This tour also sees the first appearance of French fivesome Chunk! No Captain Chunk in the UK. You won’t come across a band like these everyday – who not only cross multiple borders to spread their music, but they cross genre lines as well. If you like punk-rock, metal or hardcore you will love these guys – and the Artery Foundation.
