Trent students now have the chance to have their say in what goes on at the university.
As of this morning voting is open for the proposed motions from the Union’s General Meeting (UGM) which was held last night.
Over the year there will be 30 positions of which the NTU students can put themselves forward for.
Whether you want to work as a full-time officer, represent students on the student directorate or run one of our fantastic media organisations, there will be something for you.
Every student has the chance to vote and get involved to make sure the Union is really student led.
The online polls will be open until 11.59pm on 18th November (this Friday).
The voting motions taking place are Student Directorate, Exec Officer Review and Officer term dates, Societies Membership Policy Amendment and Sports Membership Code of Practice.
You can download the complete UGM agenda and proposed voting motions from the NTSU website as well as reading more about the UGM itself.
NTSU Vice-President (Student Democracy), Jonny Ellison, is the lead officer for all 2011/12 elections. If you have any ideas or suggestions on how to make the election process better, please contact him on jonny.ellison@su.ntu.ac.uk.
