The group of students who are climbing Kilimanjaro next summer are having a bake sale next thursday (8th of December) to raise funds for the trip. They will be outside Arkwright at the city campus selling various cakes so they can hit their target. Alix Rangolam, one of the people behind the sale, says “It’s important for us to do some fund raising throughout the year so we can almost certainly hit the target we need, The trip will be once in a lifetime and it’s great to do it whilst raising money for Child Reach”
Child reach is the charity behind the trip and they work in local communities throughout the world to raise the standard of living and prospects for the communities children.
So in the season of sharing and goodwill, if you fancy having a quick snake then head down to Arkwright.
