This is a mediocre song, even by Pixie’s standards.
From the boring intro, to the ridiculous lyrics (‘Baby baby, put me in your pocket’-WHAT?!) the 3rd single from her new album ‘Young. Foolish. Happy’ seems like just another ‘filler’ track that wasn’t really intended for release.
It’s not the worst song that’s ever been released in the history of pop either. Unless you’re one of those people that annoy everyone around you by playing heavy metal stupidly loud wherever you go, you won’t want to turn ‘Kiss the Stars’ off straight away. Pixie’s new single is just one of those tunes you don’t mind being in the background when you’re getting ready for a night out.
Kiss the stars is a disappointing follow-up to ‘All About Tonight’ and her collaboration with Tinchy Stryder, on ‘Bright lights’ is much better.
However, the singer, who performed for Royalty last year, has an army of loyal teenage fans who no doubt love this song and made Pixie Lott reach the top ten.
