Get ready for Grad Ball 2012

The best event of the year is looming on us and is now only 24 days away with tickets going on sale from today! Prepare yourself for the most spectacular night of your University life at Nottingham Trent 2012, along with excellent acts from the famous Labrinth and The Maccabees, along with many other DJ’s and acts.

The Grad Ball gives all students from each year to come and celebrate the end of their University year in style. The event will commence on Saturday the 9th June in Capital FM Arena, Nottingham and follow with an After-Party at Oceana, which is just a short walk from the Arena. Let’s give Nottingham Trent a party to remember and keep the party going till the early hours of the morning.

The entire space at Capital FM Arena will be turned in to a massive glittering world, with state of the art production and lighting, game stalls, casino tables, chocolate fountains and professional photographers throughout the night. The night is your last chance to see the year out in style and celebrate your successes with friends and familiar faces from around University.

For those hard-core party goers amongst you, there will also be a party at Oceana from 2.30am-6am. It gives those who feel they can party for a few more hours the chance to kick back and come together one last time to say goodbye to your student life 2011/2012 and for those that last the entire night till the 6am close, there will be a survivors photograph on the night. Can you party all night?

The line-up includes Labrinth, whose first single ‘Pass Out’ along with Tinie Tempah went to number 1, that he produced and co-wrote and then his next summer anthem ‘Let The Sun Shine’ that also hit the charts with a bang. He’ll be bringing all the hits on the 9th June, also with his classic that everyone loves ‘Earthquake’.

Alongside Labrinth, The Maccabees will the headlining too, who made it big in 2005 whilst supporting the Arctic Monkeys on tour and went on to become critically acclaimed albums and hits such as ‘Toothpaste Kisses’ and ‘Pelican’. The festival-loving band will be sure to give NTU students a night to remember.

More acts to be announced very soon.

Let’s see the end of the year 2011/2012 out in style!
