Rebecca Phoenix has tried and tested this season’s hottest blusher, and is head over heels!
One try of this at the Benefit counter and I knew I had to have it.
Admittedly, I was just initially drawn to the packaging (which I love), as I am pretty much a magpie to anything rose gold tinted at the moment. But once I swatched the product, I fell in love with the pastel colours. As a student, parting with £23.50 for a cheek product is normally a terrifying experience, but this is one I just couldn’t resist. The ‘Fine One One’ is an all in one product which is meant to act as a highlighter, blush and contour all in one swipe. The soft colours of the pink champagne, sheer watermelon and soft coral compliment each other well and the cream formulation makes it a dream to blend into the skin…which is a must, as it looks rather scary when you first apply it.
The colours do all have a hint of shimmer to them, which may not be everybody’s cup of tea, but it’s not too much to be overpowering. The 3-in-1 nature is so useful when you’re in a rush getting ready in the morning or as a quick top up throughout the day, as it saves so much time messing around with different powders and brushes. With the risk of sounding like an tv advert voiceover…it literally is ‘just one swipe and go’.
I would definitely recommend this product for Benefit lovers who are willing to shed a few more pennies for this lovely product and I am already hoping that Benefit will release another colour combination for me to try.
