What’s New In Beauty 2014

2013 took the beauty world by storm with a plethora of incredible releases from various beauty brands, and it seems that 2014 is firmly following in its footsteps. If you want to dabble in something new or just fancy a little pick-me-up, then keep reading…

Maybelline released Baby Lips back in August last year and received nothing but praise for their innovative creation. The brightly packaged little sticks of fun were practical, affordable and very cute, so it came as no surprise when Maybelline recently released product number two from their Baby range which came in the form of the Instant Pore Eraser. It’s been compared to Benefit’s POREfessional and although it doesn’t quite cut it according to some, it’s definitely a cheaper alternative worth trying if you’re looking for a silky smooth base.

Next up in the line of new releases is the Revlon ColourBurst Matt Balms available in a range of shades from casual nudes to striking pinks. The original chubby stick dupes were very popular among beauty bloggers last year and the matte formula seems to be getting a lot of hype as well. If you don’t sit well with matte then fear not, Revlon have catered for all by releasing ColourBurst Lacquer Balms too, if a glossy finish is more your thing.

Now, if hair care is more up your street then I’ve got some offerings for you guys too, especially if you’re lusting after thick healthy hair. L’Oréal have just launched a new Elvive Fibrology Thickening range which is apparently proven to give thicker hair wash after wash. It’s meant to leave hair looking and feeling thicker with visible body and bounce, so if you want to look after your locks then this range might be worth giving a whirl.

With base, lips and hair covered; get adding to your wish lists ladies and more importantly, get saving – there are plenty of products you’ll want to get your paws on.
