Billed as the ‘Finale in the Arkham Trilogy’, Arkham Knight is slated for PC, PS4, and Xbox One in fall this year.
Announced as the front cover to ‘Game Informer’, an American publishing magazine, the game pits you as Batman once more, with the bat-mobile becoming the new feature for this instalment.
Rocksteady Games are in charge of the sequel once more, after Warner Bros’ Montreal’s efforts with Batman: Arkham Origins released late last year to positive reception.
For now the announcement only gives details such as an expanded Gotham City, reportedly to be much bigger than Arkham City , along with returning enemies such as Two Face, Harley Quinn,Penguin and Scarecrow.
The trailer was also released alongside the announcement.
More details are expected to be released over the coming days, with the first footage of gameplay to be shown soon. Game Informer have launched their own ‘Arkham Hub’ where they will be giving new details for the next week, which can be reached here.
