Spring 2015 Makeup Trends

Bare minimum

Minimal, natural make-up. Gives the appearance of flawless skin with foundation and concealer, then accentuating cheekbones with shader and filling in the eyebrows. The ‘no make-up, make-up’. Inspired by Calvin Klein.

High Shine
Giving the skin a glow. Applying highlighter or illumunator to the top of the cheek accentuates the cheekbone and gives the skin a dewy look. For a more bold look apply highlighter to the temples, down the nose, on the chin and the cupids bow. Inspired by Marc Jacobs.
Brown-eyed Girl
Brown and gold tones smudged under the eyes and applied all over the top lid is a look that’s everywhere this season, and brings out almost any eye colour, especially green and blue eyes. Adding some pencil eye-liner to the waterline makes the eyes pop even more. Inspired by Roberto Cavalli.
Pop of Glitter
Adding glitter into your make-up instantly gives a more glamorous and fun look. Applying some to only the centre of the eyes on the top and lower lids is the chicest way to wear glitter this season. Inspired by Anna Sui.
Flaming Lips
Minimal make-up paired with a bold lip is one of the top make-up trends this season. Using different colour lipsticks and lip liners can create a fun ombre effect. Inspired by Dolce and Gabbana.
Flash of Colour
A bright pop of colour on the eyes that is left un-blended. Not a trend that would be worn day to day but is a fun and different look, seen a lot on the catwalks. Inspired by Honor.
