Black seemed to be the running theme amongst both the judges and contestants this weekend. Cheryl looked stunning as ever in her unique black fitted dress with an asymmetric hem. Rita,, however clearly didn’t get the memo with her floor length purple sheer dress which I couldn’t work out if I loved or hated. I must admit I look forward to seeing what Rita wears more so than Cheryl as her style is a bit more daring.
For me, Caroline’s style sometimes is a bit of a miss. However, tonight I loved her LBD and her hair looked much better slightly darker and in a side parting. Olly was also looking sharp in an all black suit.
But Louisa’s performances were absolutely amazing tonight along with her outfits. Her sequined bodycon BalmainxH&M number screamed party season which is perfect inspiration for us viewers as Christmas is just around the corner. In her second performance she rocked a more masculine look with a white blazer and jeans combo that made her look really sophisticated; it’s hard to believe that girl is only 17.
I feel like the judges were harsh on Lauren’s first performance but at least they commented on how gorgeous she looked in her floor length black Versace dress. However, I do wish the stylists would put her in something slightly more colourful to reflect her bubbly personality.
Reggie and Bollie never fail to put on an energetic performance and liven up the mood on the X Factor stage. Everyone was on their feet throughout their last performance and the mood was reflected in their bold primary coloured outfits. Don’t get me wrong I love Che and I think he has a killer voice but sadly his style lets him down as he always plays it quite safe.
Who do you think was the best dressed tonight? Who do you think deserves to be in the final?
