Nottingham’s favourite music festival Dot to Dot returns for its 11th year and will be headlined by Mystery Jets plus a yet to be announced special guest.
Once again the mutli-venue festival features a lineup combining the best in rising music sensations alongside established global acts.
London-based anthemic rockers Mystery Jets return following the release of their fifth album Curve of the Earth having last played the Dot to Dot in 2010.
Joining them are Australian indie giants The Temper Trap, bringing their plethora of hits including the absolutely massive Sweet Disposition.
Recent NME award winner Rat Boy, singer-songwriter Lauren Aquilina and eurphoic guitar rockers Sundara Karma are also part of a bill that will be split across venues in the city including Rock City, Rescue Rooms, Nottingham Trent SU and The Bodega.
Fringe events at local shops and bars, such as Rough Trade, Broadway Cinema and Brewdog, are also likely to return to provide a platform for upcoming local artists.
A host of exciting emerging artists including Courteeners-esque The Sherlocks, Nottingham psych-rockers Crosa Rosa and blues rock newcomer Barns Courtney make up the rest of the first announcement, giving ticket holders plenty of exploring to do before the festival.
Tickets are priced at £25 and are on sale now. They can be purchased online here or at the SU box office.
