The Best and Worst of The Brit Awards

feature im

The Brits has to be my favourite award show, mainly because I love music and it’s nice to recognise some good British talent. Also Ant and Dec present it ensuring that it’s a funny and entertaining evening so what’s not to love?!

This year was a mix of both hits and misses on the fashion front from the celebs but thankfully this year there wasn’t any fashion malfunctions unlike the whole Madonna cape fiasco last year!

Best Dressed

Many people have been debating whether Rihanna’s toned down look worked for her last night but I have to say that I really liked her choice of outfit. The lilac dress made her look feminine and classy and the shape of the dress complimented her figure well.

I thought Emma Bunton looked great tonight, she kept it simple in a caped LBD and nude heels but the outfit really worked. Sometimes it’s best to take fashion back to basics and stick with a classic but effective look.

Not many people could pull of a floor length silk number but Florence definitely rocked it last night. I loved the embroided detailing on the cape that was draped over her shoulders this added a new dimension to the overall look.

Worst dressed

I love Jess Glynne so I was disappointed with her outfit choice tonight. None of it worked, not the outfit or the hair. The green triangle from Quality Street comes to mind when seeing this outfit walk down the red carpet.

Cheryl has had some questionable outfit choices and this is definitely one of them. I don’t think the colour or cut of this dress does anything to flatter her. Despite fashion blunders her hair and makeup are usually on point but last night she just looked a bit messy.
