Thought the Bestival lineup couldn’t get any better? Well think again. Our favourite end-of-summer party have added a bunch of new names to further their claim for lineup of the year – and they haven’t even announced their final headliner yet!.
The Isle of Wight festival are upping the grime ante with Kano, whilst also hosting performances from Seattle duo Odesza, freestyler Lady Leshurr, BBC Sound of 2016 nominee Billie Marten and X Factor superstarts Reggie & Bollie.
Also joining the packed lineup are Snakehips, Mura Masa, WSTRN, Frances, Izzy Bizu, veterans The Cuban Brothers, This Is The Kit, Jeremy Loops and the Rajasthan Heritage Brass Band.
They add even more class to a lineup that already includes headliners Hot Chip, Major Lazer and The Cure, as well as Fatboy Slim, Carl Cox, Skepta, Wolf Alice and Bastille.
Curator Rob da Bank said: “I love booking Bestival. It’s proper ‘kid in a sweetshop’ time when I look at all the acts out there and try to curate a line-up that makes sense across many genres… which is how I think Bestivalites like it.”
Tickets for the festival, which returns to Robin from between 8th-11th September are on sale now and are priced at just £180 for students with a valid NUS card.
Adult tickets cost £190 with teens (13-17) able to get in for £120 when accompanied by an adult.
A weekly payment plan is aslo available, allowing you to pick up a ticket for just £5.50 a week.
This year, the festival are also introducing a VIP ticket which gets you fast track entry as well as access to a VIP area including main stage viewing platform, cocktail bar, separate toilet facilities and more.
