It may be tempting to go straight online or to Loveyababes to look for a Halloween outfit, but if you’re looking for something cheap and cheerful then all you need is what you have already – your wardrobe. The great thing about this is that it’s unlikely anyone will turn up in the same outfit as you & you don’t need to break your bank to look fabulous this Halloween. Here are a few of our ideas to make your night a whole lot easier…
The main focus here is black clothes. Black jeans are a staple wardrobe piece for most of us – whether they’re leather look, ripped or plain black, pair them up with any style of black top or bodysuit. Any mesh look tops or bodysuits would be good for this outfit as they almost create a ‘cobweb’ effect.
To complete the look: Use liquid eyeliner to draw webs around your eyes or on the top of your cheekbone. Rock a dark smoky eye and black lipstick if you have it – the main focus here is to make your makeup as dark as possible. Make your makeup statement and the rest of your outfit will speak for itself.
Red, red and more red. Throw on anything you own that is red and if you don’t own anything red (try this)? Then throw on anything black and accessorise with red, whether that’s a red bag or red shoes.
To complete the look: Invest in a cheap pair of devil ears for a couple of pounds to complete your outfit. You could also try out some bold red lips and a dark smoky eye or if you have a red eyeshadow shade – even better.
You could approach this zombie look in many ways, as the options for this outfit are endless. You may have an old school uniform lying around that you no longer need, you could throw this on, add some fake blood and become a zombie schoolgirl. If you don’t have an old uniform, then a white shirt and a black skirt or jeans would do it.
Alternatively, if you have any old clothes that you were going to put out for charity or throw away, then use these. Rip them up with scissors, splash them with blood, make holes in them – get creative!
To complete the look: Don’t forget zombies can wear anything. As long as you add a bit of fake blood, whether that’s to your face or your clothes, you are good to go.
