Nottingham’s Wishlist Wednesday #20

The cold weather is well under way but nothing is stopping us from treating our walk to the lecture theatre as a fashion show. Whip our your sunnies and heeled boots, because we’re making this winter a stylish one.

THE OVERSIZED KNIT
This Zara jumper makes waking up in the morning that little bit easier. Even if you’re in a rush, this super soft knit can be thrown over a pair of jeans and the oversized shape will earn you instant style points. Nothing will make you wish you were cosied up in front of a fire more.

THE LACE BRA
Just because you’re wearing a billion layers, that doesn’t mean you should let your underwear choices slip. Even if it’s super cold outside and you’re dressed like a marshmallow, at least you’ll feel fabulous knowing you’ve got on some bangin’ undies.

THE LEOPARD DRESS
Leopard will always have a soft spot in my heart. Sometimes it can look tacky, but Zara manage to make it look effortlessly cool with this mini number. The ruffles on this dress add some femininity to an otherwise rock star outfit. Paired with some chunky boots and a biker jacket, this dress will see you through the party season.

THE SHIRT PYJAMAS
This season is all about the classic pyjama style! This pair from ASOS come in a beautiful autumnal shade of khaki, and demand that you put the kettle on and sit down with a delicious hot chocolate. Who says you can’t look stylish even when you’re in bed?

THE NEW MULE
I am thrilled that the mule is making a comeback! What used to be a clunky, unattractive shoe has made an appearance this season in beautiful velvets and jewel colours. If you’re worried about your toes freezing off, then pairing them with a cute pair of statement socks to take this look up a notch! This black pair from Urban Outfitters will go with anything and everything.
