Contribute to Platform

As NTU’s official student magazine, Platform depends upon the efforts of all of its contributors, YOU the students, so if you fancy getting involved, you’ve come to the right place.

No previous experience is necessary – we’re just looking for talented, hard-working Trent students who want to make Platform the best it has ever been. We need help for everything from writing and journalism to photography and marketing to website design.

Each section will be hosting a monthly writers meeting which will be announced on our Facebook pages which you are more than welcome to attend. If you go over to Facebook and type in to the search bar the section you are interested in and then ‘writers 2012-2013′ you will be sure to find the correct groups. E.g. “Platform Lifestyle Writers 2012-2013″

If you then join the group, the Editor and Deputy will post daily about articles that need to be written for the magazine, but will also take any ideas you have as well.

Alternatively, email the Editor of the section you would like to contribute to with your contact details and any ideas you may have:

MINT Editor: Alice McDavid (mint@platform-online.net)

Music Editor: Mark Linsdell (music@platform-online.net )
